Bowls, Dishes and Hides ⁽¹³⁾

Give food, dry calcium or water a dedicated place, keep a moss patch together, or add cover with an egg-crate hide. Choose by the job you need and the animals you keep: this range includes food and water bowls for isopods and millipedes, plus distinct lidded calcium bowls for isopods and millipedes or mourning geckos.

A removable food bowl makes leftovers easier to find and lift out; a dry-calcium bowl keeps powder separate from offered food. The water bowl provides a separate water dish, while the floor-level entrances in the isopod and millipede calcium bowl make it unsuitable for holding water. Our guide to choosing a bowl for food, calcium or water helps you decide which purpose belongs in your setup—you do not need all three in every enclosure.

For a defined moss patch, choose the moss box with a removable lattice lid. Its draining base sits on the substrate, so it holds moss together rather than serving as a water tray. Moss is supplied separately; leave room to reach the lid when checking or replacing it.

Egg-crate hides offer a different kind of furnishing: a tile placed flat provides cover over the substrate, while separate matching supports let you arrange hides upright or in layers. Read about flat, upright and stacked egg-crate arrangements before choosing your pieces. Hides, vertical stands and horizontal stackers are separate purchases. Full-size pieces are currently unavailable to buy while fit work is completed.
