Half-Size Egg Crate Hide

Give your isopod enclosure a sheltered spot with this half-size egg crate hide. The open-bottom tile sits with its underside towards the substrate, which forms the floor beneath the cover. Place it among leaf litter and other furnishings to add a dedicated hiding place.

At just 20 mm high, it provides cover without adding a tall furnishing. Its nominal dimensions are 57 mm wide × 111 mm long × 20 mm high, helping you plan space alongside the rest of your setup.

For advice on arranging cover, the isopod habitat setup guide explains how sheltered routes fit between damp and drier areas, alongside substrate and leaf litter.

Choose how many hides you need

Choose Amount 1 for one hiding spot, or Amount 2 or 4 to add cover in several places or across separate enclosures.

Your purchase includes hide tiles only, in your chosen quantity. The matching Half-size vertical stand and Half-size horizontal stackers are sold separately and are not included.

If you are considering natural cover too, explore cork bark for isopod enclosures as another option.

For ordinary cleaning, rinse or clean the hide with water and keep it free from contaminants.
