Orange Antheromorpha uncinata Flat-backed Millipedes

These Antheromorpha uncinata have a dramatic, dark body edged with fiery orange. In the photos, the orange tips catch the eye along the sides of each segment, making the whole outline glow as the millipedes move through leaf litter. The contrast gives this orange form a look of its own.

Just as striking is the flat-backed shape. Broad side extensions create a low, angular silhouette that looks very different from a rounded millipede, with the orange edges tracing that unusual profile from head to tail. Colour and pattern can vary between individuals.
