Daywalker Slime Mould Culture

Daywalker slime mould culture

This live Physarum polycephalum culture is for buyers who want a living slime mould to observe and maintain. It is a culture-and-agar product rather than a full activity kit, so it suits people who already want the culture itself and are happy to add any extra setup they need.

Daywalker is described as vivid yellow to orange-yellow when active, with smooth, moist-looking growth that can spread into fine branching veins, fan-shaped margins and net-like patterns. As with any living culture, the visible pattern can change as it develops.

The culture is supplied on a lidded 10 cm square or round agar plate, with the culture occupying about one quarter of the surface. The agar provides the growing surface; it is not the same as a confirmed food source.

Because this is a live slime mould culture, the appearance on arrival and the way it develops can vary. Buyers looking for a broader care reference can use the slime mould care guide, while anyone wanting a more complete activity setup may prefer the 3D Printed Slime Mould Maze Insert or the games to play with your slime mould guide.
