Cubaris Orange Cappuccino is a visually appealing Cubaris morph for keepers who want the warm orange direction shown in current stock photography, with natural variation between individuals. It is best judged as a display-focused isopod with a woodland-style setup in mind rather than as a species to buy for constant surface activity.

Like other Cubaris, it is generally suited to a mature enclosure with layered cover, leaf litter, rotting wood and a dependable damp refuge. A usable drier area should still be available, along with gentle airflow and enough structure for the colony to choose where it spends its time. That balance matters more than chasing one fixed moisture number.

In day-to-day keeping, you may notice individuals under bark, within leaf litter or around decaying wood, with surface activity varying by colony size, enclosure layout and how settled the group is. The orange and creamy-white look can be the main draw, but the exact shade and pattern will vary, so it is better to choose this morph for its overall colour direction rather than expecting every animal to match the photography exactly.

Feeding should be based around leaf litter, rotting wood and mature substrate, with fresh or prepared foods offered sparingly. Calcium access is also sensible for long-term colony support. Springtails can be useful in the enclosure, but they do not replace airflow, restraint with feeding or routine maintenance.
