Beginner Suitability: No, far from it. Unlike others within its genus, these are utterly a nightmare to get breeding, however very easy to keep like the rest of Officinalis.
 
That being said, I believe I am the first person to successfully record them breeding fully within captivity within the UK. 7 Months of trying, 3 separate cultures all kept different, and only 1 has worked well. We will, in time, share the conditions we kept the breeding colony under; however will wait to see over time if they can 1. Grow up within captivity and 2. Continue breeding, as recordings of them being bred in captivity are second to none.
